Dr. Yelko Rodriguez of the University of Valencia has carried out a postdoctoral stay in the Department of Food Technology of the UdL

Dr. Yelko Rodríguez has carried out a stay in the Applied Mycology laboratories of the Department of Food Technology of the University of Lleida as a result of obtaining a grant "Campus network of International Excellence with Agro-alimentary Activity" of the Foundation Triptolemos for the mobility of doctors within the network. The stay was held from May 2 to 20, 2017.

The project focused on investigating the influence of the brewing process on the content of some mycotoxins of the genus Fusarium of toxicological interest, such as trichothecenes, zearalenone and fumonisins, which present a relevant incidence in both grain and final product. The stay has allowed a collaboration between the research groups on mycotoxins and toxigenic fungi led by Dr. Jordi Mañes from the University of Valencia and Dr. Vicente Sanchis from the Universitat de Lleida.
